Description
The Professional Scrum Master and Product Owner course combines all the learning objectives in two of Scrum.org’s most impactful 2-day courses and delivers them in a single fast-paced 3-day offering. By removing the duplication that exists between these two individual courses, the participants can not only speed up their learning, but they can build a tight bond between the Product Owners and Scrum Masters in an organization.
Being a professional Product Owner encompasses more than writing requirements or managing a Product Backlog. Product Owners need to have a concrete understanding of all product management aspects, including but not limited to product ownership, that drives value from their products.
For Scrum Masters coaching a software development team, this course will move you towards increased efficiency and effectiveness. The course includes advanced thinking for servant-leadership and behavioral shifts.
The 3-day PSM/PSPO course is much more than just a set of slides and an instructor. In this course, students work on real-life cases with other classmates together as a team. This course is made up of discussions and hands-on exercises based upon real-life cases.
Intended Audience
The 3-day Professional Scrum Master/Product Owner course is for individuals from the same organization who are looking to learn about the Scrum framework specifically from the perspective of a Scrum Master or Product Owner.
At Completion
Students are challenged to consider how the Scrum framework will work in their specific organization. This allows the participants to maximize the value Scrum can provide when returning to their workplace and faced with complex product decisions and difficult work scenarios.

Exams & Certifications
All participants completing the Professional Scrum Master course will receive a password to attempt the PSM I and PSPO I assessments, and are also entitled to a discount on the PSM II and PSPO II assessments. These industry-recognized certifications require a minimum passing score on these rigorous assessments.
