Overview

​WordPress is a free, open source blogging tool and content management system (CMS) based on PHP and MySQL. With WordPress, you can add and edit web pages from anywhere you have an internet connection.

With more than 60 million websites using WordPress, it has become the most popular blogging system in use on the Web. This class will get you started with WordPress, from a basic installation to customizing your first WordPress site.

Intended Audience

​This course is for students who are familiar with working in WordPress and want to customize, administer and develop their website further.


At Completion

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will have covered the following topics:
