Overview

Welcome to the Project Management Workshop – A Practical Application of the PMBOK® Guide! This course will take your knowledge gained in previous Springhouse classes and apply it to a project. You'll see the actual components discussed in the PMBOK Guide® applied in various project situations. The class will leverage other tools commonly used in real-life project management! This should provide you the chance to apply the information gained to achieve common project challenges and opportunities.

Intended Audience

This course is for anyone:

  • Studying the PMBOK® Guide and other materials with the intent of sitting for either the Project
    Management Professional (PMP®) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) examinations
  • Any Project Management Professional (PMP®) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®)
    that needs more experience in applying what was learned and for what they are certified.

At Completion

This course will:

  • Reinforce the terminology, and fundamentals of the traditional project management process
  • Apply the knowledge within the PMBOK® Guide against various scenarios using suggested tools
  • Learn of best practices and approaches to address common challenges faced by project managers
