Overview
In Word 2013 Level 1 students will learn all the basics of creating, editing and formatting documents in this powerful word processing software. Topics covered include editing and formatting text, creating and inserting tables, inserting headers and footers, adding graphics and clip art, and proofing, printing and exporting documents.
Intended Audience
This course is designed for users who need to learn the fundamental skills needed to create, format, edit and enhance basic documents.

Prerequisites
To be successful in this course, students should have a basic understanding of the Windows operating system, including how to launch an application and create and save files.

The Microsoft Office Specialist certification is for individuals who use Microsoft’s business desktop software and seek recognition for their expertise with specific Microsoft products. Certification candidates must pass one or more proficiency exams in order to earn the Microsoft Office Specialist certification.
