​The Implementing WAN Optimization with Citrix CloudBridge 7 course CCB-200, provides students the foundational concepts and skills necessary to implement, configure, secure, and monitor a Citrix CloudBridge system in a WAN environment, providing application and data access to users. This course is designed specifically for learners who have limited or no previous CloudBridge experience. In order to successfully complete this course, learners will have access to hands-on exercises within a virtual lab environment. This course is based on the Citrix CloudBridge product version 7.2, but the skills and fundamental concepts learned are common to earlier product versions.

Intended Audience

This course is recommended for learners with limited or no previous CloudPlatform experience, who are 

  • New to the CloudBridge platform
  • Interested in WAN optimization using CloudBridge

At Completion

​Upon completion of this course, students are able to:

  • Identify the capabilities and functionality of a CloudBridge platform
  • Explain basic CloudBridge network architecture
  • Obtain, install, and manage CloudBridge licenses
  • Configure WAN optimization using the CloudBridge
  • Configure WAN acceleration for various application protocols, including CIFS, MAPI, and ICA
  • Configure service classes and application classifiers
  • Configure WAN links on the CloudBridge
  • Configure a CloudBridge high-availability pair
  • Demonstrate monitoring and reporting through native CloudBridge logging tools
  • Employ recommended tools and techniques to troubleshoot common CloudBridge issues


​Prior to taking this course, Citrix recommends students have 

  • Familiarity with LAN and WAN principles
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Remote Desktop Services
  • Basic understanding of Windows Server networking concepts, such as DNS, IIS®, and load balancing
  • Exposure to basic system administration concepts, including logging, software upgrade procedures, and high availability operations
  • Familiarity with server monitoring tools
  • Basic understanding of VPN concepts, including SSL encryption and certificates
